The Society: � promotes the awareness of chemical hazards and improvements in their identification and communication � provides a forum for sharing experiences, views and information on chemical hazards � promotes the need for specific training and aims toward the setting of competency standards � makes chemical hazards information available to members and other relevant bodies The Society has over 500 members. It provides a modular scheme of training for compilers of safety data sheets, delivers seminars on related topics, runs webinars and issues occasional newsletters. The Society also operates a very popular and free to subscribe email forum for questions (and answers) on relevant subjects This is open to anyone (membership of the CHCS is not a pre-requisite) See https://chcs.org.uk/chemical-hazards-forum.
