BURSAGAZ

Bursagaz was established as a subsidiary of BOTA� and started to sell natural gas in 1992, before being privatized in 2004. In 2008, the Company was acquired by EWE Turkey Holding. Following privatization, Bursagaz embarked upon an ambitious investment drive, with a special focus on infrastructure investment and grid optimization. The grid length, which stood at 1,619 km prior to privatization, was continuously increased through strategic investments during the following years to reach 5,665 km as of year-end 2015.Bursagaz also increased the number of its subscribers in this period. The Company's total subscribers in terms of NIU climbed from 276,000 in 2004 to 884,480 as of year-end 2015. Today Bursagaz is considered to be a model enterprise in its sector, having become Turkey's second largest natural gas distributor as a result of operational and managerial investments.
