TECHFEM S.p.A. (TF) has been founded in 1984 by a group of senior engineers and managers coming from Snamprogetti S.p.A. The particular founders� attitude to develop customized design solutions for the operation and production plants issues of their clients and the passion for the research and development contributed to put down the basement of a company philosophy oriented to the Customer and to the technological innovation. Nowadays Techfem is an independent engineering and construction services with almost 200 employee, with offices in all the strategic location of Italy and branch end/or local companies abroad. The particular attitude to problem solving of complex engineering issues and to technological innovation allow TF to be an engineering and consulting company operating today in several and diverse field of the oil&gas sector in upstream, midstream and downstream too. TF built up in these years a multidisciplinary team of specialists with all the technical and managerial characteristics to face complete projects from the technical-economical feasibility phase up to the definition of all the detail engineering for materials purchasing and construction, including assistance to procurement, PMC/Owner Engineering and construction works supervision. During the realization phase Techfem can operate pre-commissioning, assistance to the construction and start-up of pipelines and plants. TF has developed expertise in the HSE studies required by Authorities for any plant installation of hydrocarbons handling and chemical/petrochemical sites. TECHFEM develops Environmental Impact Assessment, risk assessment and HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA, SIMOPS studies as third party. TF is involved also in the offshore design for sealines, PLEM, PLET, subsea manifolds and shore approaches. TF has obtained the certification of the integrated management system in accordance to ISO 9001 (Quality), OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environment).
