We�re SA Power Networks, an iconic South Australian organisation. A leader in delivering energy services that customers value. We�re a key player in South Australia�s energy industry as the state�s sole electricity distributor. Put simply; we build, maintain and upgrade the poles, wires and substations that deliver power to around 850,000 customers. We also: - operate a 24-hour faults and emergencies hotline - maintain street lighting for local councils and government - take readings of traditional SA Power Networks� electricity meters. We employ more than 2,000 people and supply power to local households and businesses. SA Power Networks is the fifth largest electricity distributor in the Australian National Electricity Market. ETSA Utilities changed its name to SA Power Networks effective 3 September 2012.
