The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) is working to deliver safe, clean, efficient and reliable electricity to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using nuclear energy. This carbon-free electricity is needed to support the UAE�s social and economic growth. ENEC owns and is responsible for building the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant. Once fully operational, the plant will provide up to a quarter of the country�s electricity demand and prevent up to 21 million tons of carbon emissions annually, equivalent to removing 3.2 million cars from the nation�s roads.
