Bondalti

At Bondalti, there is a Chemistry bonding us. A passion passed down by the founder of the company, Alfredo da Silva, which has captivated shareholders and employees alike over a period of 150 years. Today, as before, we manufacture vital chemical products on a daily basis, essential to the wellbeing of our modern society. Inorganic and organic chemical products such as chlorine and aniline, nitric and sulforic acids and hydrochloric, caustic soda or nitrobenzene, among others. Products that are present in the purification process of the water we consume, that are used in the pharmaceutical, rubber and paper industries. Also, products used as raw materials in the manufacturing of polyurethanes (MDI) and blaches. These products are exported to many parts of Europe: Spain, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and Germany are just a few examples, among others. Bondalti holds the first place in the sale of aniline in Europe, as an unintegrated producer, and it�s the second biggest Iberian producer of chlorine. We annually export more than 90 percent of our total production. Bondalti is the biggest Portuguese chemical industry � integrated in a part of an old and prestigious family-based group. But, better than the financial results, Bondalti cherishes its values: Innovation, Competence and Human Development. It's considered to be an employer of excellence that works with the main Portuguese universities and also develops projects with research centres in Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and the United States, among others. From Coimbra, nanostructured materials are shipped for the whole world, manufactured thanks with a technology patented by Bondalti. It�s this experience, this knowledge accumulated over many generations and through several industrial and technological revolutions, always reinventing itself by innovation, that is the main equity accumulated by Bondalti. n equity of trust and quality.
