BKW Italia buys, produces and sells energy mainly from renewable power plants. BKW also has direct share participation in gas-fired power plants and it is also active in the wholesale power and gas market, as well as on the Environmental Certificates markets. The Company is controlled by the Swiss utility BKW FMB Energy AG, based in Bern.
