Agave Energy Company was formed in 1995 as a result of Yates Petroleum Corporation�s acquisition of portions of Transwestern Pipeline Company�s Southeast New Mexico gathering assets. Agave began operations with 22 employees moving 100 MMcfd of natural gas. In January 2015, the company spun out from Yates Petroleum Corporation forming Agave Energy Holdings and on September 1, 2016 Agave Energy became a part of the Lucid Energy Group.
